About Fakireeyat
After a mystical awakening, a humble woman becomes a spiritual teacher, sharing ancient wisdom despite opposition. Through faith and determination, she transforms from seeker to guide, touching countless lives with her teachings of Kriya Yoga.
Inspired by the extraordinary journey of Gurumaee Maa Rudratmika, the film highlights her unwavering dedication to her Guru's mission and the teachings of revered saints such as Shri Mahavatar Babaji, Shri Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Shri Swami Samarth, Baba Shri Bhadrabahu, and Maa Kali.
The narrative is adapted from Anuja Janvalekar's books "Chirut Jalti Hai" and "Adhyatma: Ek Vidroh, Ek Kranti", emphasizing the ideals of sacrifice, detachment, and inner greatness.
The title "Fakireeyat" was chosen on divine instruction. The saints and sages portrayed are beyond caste, religion, deity, or country. That detachment itself is Fakireeyat — the spirit of sacrifice and greatness.
In 2024, Gurumaee received the divine command to make this film. Despite having no prior experience in filmmaking, she courageously undertook the task, overcoming immense challenges with the cooperation of her disciples and successfully completed Fakireeyat.
